The results of a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial of homeopathy were published in the esteemed The Lancet. The study was conducted with 144 patients suffering from allergic rhinitis.
– Patients receiving homeopathic treatments experienced a marked decrease in both self-reported and physician-evaluated symptoms.
– The importance of this response rose when taking pollen counts into consideration, and it was found to reduce the requirement for antihistamines by half.
